The board made the Catalyst Futures Systematic Trading (CFST) Exam to certify trading professionals on their knowledge of the trading industry and derivatives trading and risk management. It is one-of-a-kind examination designed for helping hedge funds, trading firms and dealing desks to ensure that their professionals effectively understand and master the job at hand. Rather than concentrating on security analysis or specific-country regulation, the CFST focuses on risk management and trading skills.

The exam is applied in one of the Prometric Testing facilities in over 160 countries.

You can take both tests as many times as you wish. However, the Level II exam requires approval on Level I. You are not eligible for the membership credentials until you pass the Level II exam.

The cost of attending is 350 EUR per exam. The certification is composed of two exams/levels, the CFST Exam Level I and II. Special candidates from selected institutions may be eligible for discount or financing. Contact us to learn more.

You will receive the study material free of charge as you sign up for the exam. Some private course providers focus on the preparation for the CFST Exam. If you can also check the reference book list for the exam, but the official guide and video lessons should be enough.
